Oprah Winfrey Brings Her Life’s Work to Sphere in Las Vegas with an Immersive Visual and Musical Show
Oprah Winfrey has announced a new artistic project titled “Oprah Winfrey’s AHA,” which will be presented at Sphere in Las Vegas for just three nights, on April 2, 3 and 4, 2027. The experience will blend storytelling, music, poetry and visual art.
According to Sphere’s official website, the show will run for approximately two hours and feature a number of musicians, artists and writers, including musician and composer Jacob Collier, poet and writer Ocean Vuong, musician Ajeet and gospel singer Wintley Phipps, along with creative contributions from other figures in music, writing and visual design.
A Show Designed Specifically for Sphere’s Technology
The project will draw on the immersive visual and audio capabilities that distinguish Sphere, a venue designed to integrate a giant screen, surround sound and sensory effects into a single experience. According to the published details, the show will combine live remarks by Oprah with musical and poetic passages and visual tableaux in a continuous theatrical presentation.
Reuters reported that Winfrey described the project as an extension of ideas she has explored throughout her career, with a focus on self-awareness and human connection—topics that have been associated with her programs and media projects for years.
A Multidisciplinary Artistic Collaboration
Musician Max Richter will oversee part of the original music, alongside Jason White and Jon Hopkins, while a number of figures from theater, literature and the visual arts will contribute to the writing and artistic elements.
The project reflects a growing trend in the global entertainment industry toward shows that combine live performance with immersive technology, rather than relying solely on the traditional concert or theater format.
