The seventh AlUla Dates Season continues its activities as part of the 2026–2027 “Khayrat AlUla” agricultural season, bringing together commercial auctions, visitor experiences and the agricultural heritage that has been associated with the AlUla Oasis for centuries.

Auctions Through November 15

The Royal Commission for AlUla launched the season in Al-Fursan Village, with the commercial auction continuing on weekends through November 15. The events provide spaces for farmers, productive families and artisans to showcase crops, traditional foods and palm-frond products to visitors.

4.2 Million Palm Trees

According to the Saudi Press Agency, AlUla Governorate is home to more than 4.2 million palm trees across an area of approximately 16,484 hectares, with annual date production estimated at around 130,000 tons. This makes palm cultivation an important part of the local agricultural economy and the identity of the oasis.

An Experience Combining Tourism and Heritage

The season is not limited to commercial activities; it also showcases traditional harvesting practices and crafts associated with palm trees, linking AlUla’s agricultural history, documented in ancient inscriptions at Jabal Ikmah, with a contemporary tourism experience.
